Add a todo note to your developer diary.
Description
Take a note on something that has to be done. This is a piece of paper you usually would pin on your monitor. For complex todos consider using an issue tracking system.
Properties
The document type todo provides the following properties:
Parent
A link to the parent document which is expected to be of type Year.
Creator of the Todo
Specify a reference to the author of the todo.
Participants
List the stakeholders, organizations, or persons that participate in working on this todo.
This makes it easier to track todos on the participants' documents chronologically.
Identification Date
Specify the date the todo has been identified.
Deadline
Specify an optional date until which this todo needs to be resolved.
Priority
Specify the priority of the todo.
Status
Specify the status of the todo.
Object
Add links to documents that refer to entities this event is concerned with.
If you are configuring a system or service, or follow a work instruction, this can be referenced for further information. It also identifies the entities unambiguously.
File
Add a link to a todo document this todo is related to.
Sections
Description
Document an important thing to be done.
Work Items
Add Section documents for each unit of work that is identified to be part of this todo. By adding a new document as a child this work item is referenceable.
File Folder
List of documents associated with this todo.
Notes
These are internal notes that are usually not exported and only visible to team members with write access.
But this is not a safe place to store sensible information. It is just a convenience for the reader to not be bothered with notes stored here for the authors for later use. The security level is about suppressing the representation by a CSS style. Therefore consider this as a convenience for the reader, not as a security tool.
References
For a document the references section contains pointers to resources that prove the statements of the document.
Often these proofs are not easily distinguishable from further information. In this case you may want to skip the reference section in favour for the resource list.
Resources
The resources section provides references to further information to the topic of the document.
This may be information on the internet provided by the resource or information in the team's information systems. Anything the reader of the resource might want to know, may be listed here.
