    Description

      If the SCM revision number cannot be retrieved, although the SCM configuration is valid and the system is not offline, the build should be configurable to fail. This will prevent artifacts to be built without a revision number.

      Per default the build will not fail. A property 'failOnMissingRevision' set to true will force the build to fail on missing SCM revision.
