Minor Description
The selection of a value for the Iteration Macro does not always work when in the editor of a new page. A new value cannot be selected via the macro panel. It can, however, be selected via the macro editor (as a workaround).
Sometimes it helps to reload the page with cleared caches. But not always.
The recommended workaround is to set the value via the macro parameter in the macro editor.
