Delegate documents make it easier to reuse content from existing documents as a whole.

The delegate document provides information for the delegating document as default.

This practice is useful to reuse information. The reuse is on document properties as well as on sections. Only properties and sections the delegating document actually provides are used. This way a delegating document may define a view on another document.
